About leather

Our Leather

Each cover is made from premium full-grain leather sourced from Tuscany, Italy - from tanneries that are part of the Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium. The leather is vegetable tanned, which gives it a natural feel and allows it to develop more character over time.

Our leathers come from European raw hides, ensuring animal welfare and sustainability as by-products of the food industry. Made in Italy, they meet the highest safety standards, avoiding harmful chemicals to protect health and the environment.

Care Instructions

Leather is a living material. Yours will darken, soften, and develop a rich patina as it responds to sunlight, heat, humidity, and the natural oils from your hands. This evolution is part of its character, not a flaw.

To keep it at its best, avoid prolonged direct sunlight, water or other liquids, and harsh chemicals or solvents, and try not to store it in damp or very hot spaces.

Every few months, feed it with a small amount of natural beeswax balm, worked in gently with a soft cloth or your hands. This nourishes the leather as it ages.
